Interesting videos. In the second one, the gun was found in Canada three months later!

Where I work we made this gun (before I was there) and we have two 600 NE Encore rifles in process now. http://www.dvhcustomguns.com
After Santa let it go flying it was returned to have the scope replaced and scratches polished out.
While we had it Dave asked if I wanted to shoot it. I said "No, and if I ever change my mind don't let me do it."

Brave guys indeed. I would be too scared to try it, and if I did it would probably fly into the stratosphere!

I would shoot it but I would have a Sam splint in place before I pulled the trigger.

I have that pistol now. It is shootable if held correctly. Massive recoil though. I take it out and shoot it now and then, but not very often. Recoil is massive.

I turned down an offer to shoot this gun. When the owner wouldn't do it, there was no way I was going to.

chuck375,

what is the crest on your avatar?

Somewhere here there is picture or video of me shooting a 2-bore pistol Colin Stolzer (Cowboy CS) built for somebody here.

Drew, I figured you would jump at the chance. Idaho, the 2 bore pistol is a handful, no doubt.

I videoed Drewhenry and lee440 shooting the 4 bore in 2009 when i was recovering from my atv wreck - I couldn't shoot anything bigger than a 223 then... i THOUGHT about the 600 pistol .. which lead me to think that I needed some tea and shade!

here's some vids of the 4 bore and 600 OK
