Check out the one of three built Ruger 77 458 lott in a stainless Ruger 77.This is the gun they should build in 416 rem mag and 375 and 458 lott on a regular basis.I was going ash Ruger if they ever planned on building these guns on a regular basis. Its an awesome gun .There is no reason they couldnt build them for under $1000 .I think it would out sell the Ruger RSM they sell.I would also buy one in 338 Lapula with a 28" barrel. That would be the cats meow in a 338 lapula and a 416 rem mag. | ||

or, you could buy a LH 338, send it down here, have it rechambered/barreled for one of the AR rounds, and be in it for less than an RSM. on the lapua .. and 416rem. the RSM uses the same barrel profile from 270 to 458, as it's a very expensive external conture. the action is "a mile" long. building one in 338 lapua would wind up with a huge HEAVY 33 cal barrel. i could probably go through a couple hundred of your dollars to make you a 375, 416, or 458 on your ruger action... or we could just screw in an AR caliber of your choice and keep going. see my website for details jeffe opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round?
