Wow ... just goes to prove that you can lead a horse's ass to water, but you can't make'm into a duck.

Hope this clown doesn't hurt someone other than or in addition to himself.

If that is even where he's from... troll

Gents, this is another ScottS kinda deal. A cry out for attention because either his parents didn't give him the opportunity or he's one of the people who's life revolves around the computer screen. It can be funny at times, however it's ridiculous to see his moronic attempts at getting the attention. He's causing us to highjack all of the threads.
Maybe he really is that stupid. Maybe he just gets his jolly's out of the attention we're providing him. I almost feel sorry for him for lacking that much intellect, than again you just can't fix stupid.
Point made. We've told him what he's doing wrong. Again he dismisses it as B.S. out of his own ignorance. Let him learn on his own with a catastrophic failure of his rifle, and maybe it'll knock some sense into him.

On the other hand, what we see here is natural selection in process. Albeit, slow process.

I will say this though, the moron's right about the Winchester 458wm load, or at least right about what they show on their website, a Nosler soft and solid at 2240fps: http://www.winchester.com/products/catalog/comparerifle...on=3&ctype=1&atype=1

Looks like their making their own...

Midway lists 500 grain Nosler Partitions &
500 grain Nosler solid bullets...

They must be pretty proud of them at $106 & $73 per 25!!!

That's nearly twice the price of Woodleigh softs & solids for my 600 OK...

Midway does not list the loaded ammo...

And I truly doubt that it will do the advertised velocity out of our rifles and over our chronos....

Hornady Heavy Mag fell at least 100 fps short of its advertised velocity over my Ohler...

Even if it falls 100fps short, it represents a BIG improvement over typical factory 458wm fodder.

My handloads with 500gr Woodleigh solids run ~2145fps at the muzzle and leave nothing wanting when it comes to performance.

Chap I don't even have a .458 nor can I give you load advice BUT to say the following:

"What a load of crap, olcrap. My loads are around 2150 fps which is normal for a 458 win mag.Winchesters supreme safari ammunition has the 500gr Nosler solid at 2240 fps!!! It would be interesting to see if those have loose primer pockets." -is missing have the point and ignoring all the other variables in play. Yes 2150 may be OK but with what powder would be a good start...you could be getting 1800fps and be way over pressure....

Secondly, this response:
You say you know about reloading the 458 but when it came to shooting the ele you MISSED the brain!

Is just way off the mark and the two issues are completely unrelated!

Sorry but I have no dog in this match either but man...take the advice! A CZ is strong but not magical!
I do honestly think you are just baiting folks for shits and giggles....
