I'm a fan of the mono metals. I've used a 250-grain GMX on both cape and water buffalo and both hit the ground within sight. There is something to be said for speed and increased tissue damage. Penetration really isn't an issue with high weight retention bullets. I'm getting 2830fps out of my 375H&H so it doubles as an effective 300 yard plains game rifle as well.

Well, guys, we shall see how the recommendations pan out. Still have to get out and shoot some groups to see what the 375 shoots best between the 350 tsx's and woodleighs, but booked a bull and cow buff hunt through JWK Safaris in SA for next Sept.

Hard cast lead from a .500 or .577 bpe double rifle (440 grains and 570 to 650 grains). Go easy fellas.
