Just going down to the range to sight in my new 458 on open sights. Do any of you have any good targets that I can print off that pick up well at 50-100yds??
Regards
Mark

The easiest thing to do is use PowerPoint and 'draw' a large circle on the slide, fill it in with whatever color you prefer, then print it off. If you'd like, shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you the one I use.
Using the bottom corners of a medium to large solid square or the bottom tip of a medium to large solid diamond for aiming points work well w/ open sights.
I use an upside down "T".....that allow you to keep both elevation and windage lined up. This was a target that Ross Seyfried talked about several years ago. I think it works great for open sights!

I just use a bullseye pistol target and a six o'clock hold when sighting in open sights. I can shoot 1.5 in. groups at 100 with a good rifle and good open sights with one of these.

I am with JStevens using bullseye pistol targets. I found that you can take one of these targets to Kinkos and have copies made cheaper than buying the targets as targets. I have them printed on light weight card stock. They are very good. Kudude
