Sign me up !
I will bring a few toys.
What are we considering big bore ?
Over .366 or over .400 ?
Depending on the answer will decide what I bring.
But for sure a .416 Rigby, 450 NE, 470 NE and 12 ga DR with 45/70 conversion tubes.
If over .366 I may also bring a 9.3x62 and .375 H&H.

Cheers

Jeff,

Never claimed to have a 600 OK what would make you think I have one?

Clint you want me to bring the 500 A2? I'll see if I can talk a few others into coming too. August 28th isn't a good weekend for me either, so I am waiting to see what the new date is going to be. Something mid-September appears to be better for me.

Clint,

I think I can do September 11. How many are coming? Where is the range? What time are we to arrive? How much is it costing? How much ammo should we plan on bringing? What is the course of fire? So many questions, sorry.

I may have two or three other guys coming also.

Clint,

As of now lets say 9/11 is a go.
What a way to celebrate our freedoms, provided by so many's sacrifices.

Nitro

Hopefully no emergencies on my side !

You have seen my calider list, bring lots of what ever caliber you want to shoot. jumping

Jokes aside I will provide as much ammo as I can get loaded by then, assuming I can make the time.
I also need to get some cheap bullets, don't want to waste premium ( Swifts, Woodleigh's, TBBC etc ) on dirt.

Cheers

I will bring ~ 36 rounds for the 500 A2 but that is the budget limit per above comments!

Bill,

I think the more the better.

Nitro,

Due to bullet availability the 500 A2 may be the only big bore coming, unless you want to count a 375 JDJ encore rifle that is set up for kids/women to shoot. A friend of mine may come along with a 50 Beowulf and another with a 458 Winnie.

All,
I will probably bring my over .400 cals.
Since these are medium bores they will have to suffice.
I was drooling over the latest installments of CZ550's at Cabelas .500 Jeff and .505 Gibbs they have several of each.
Just could not pull the trigger on another rifle, at $2700.
I will bring some of my cartridge collection so people can ooh and ah over some real bigbores ( .500, .505, .577, .600, .700 )

I really am going to have to try and make a concerted effort to get some ammo loaded.
I have to get more powder, these damn 80 ~ 105 grain loads eat powder like no tommorrow.

Oh enough griping, just get on with it. CRYBABY

I can provide a few 1/2 scale color targets of Buffalo and a few other African critters.

Clint,

If you want anyone other than Lansing residents at your event you will post location, time, and cost. Actual targets matter very little to us (outside Lansing). The 11th is looking very iffy for me now as I must be south of the border in that timeline. I was planning on bringing my 500 AHR and 500 A2, and a few friends are talking about bringing their 50 Beowulf AR15 and a 458 Win Mag.

As far was we are concerned targets can be typical store fodder!
