DavidCRaffica,
Thanks for the heads up....
When I first read your post I though maybe you had made a typo.....$60.00 for a box or 416 Rigby!?

Sure enough...
Midway .416 Rigby ammo pricesA refreshing change from $120.00 a box of Federal....

MJinesUnder $60 a box? For 20 rounds? Going to be a race to the Midway link to buy up that ammo.

RafficaI was glad to see it myself, I'm new to the bigbore world. I collect and shoot MG's and hate like hell to spend $120 on a case of ammo let alone a box!

Paul KI talked to my Hornady rep. last week and told him to get me 100 416 Rig. brass. I expect to see them soon. Can't wait to check them out!

HomebrewI hope this will drive down the cost of other factory loads. The best price I have seen prior to this was $99.00 per box of 20, 400 grain Partition from Nosler. I reload but it is nice to have a fairly cheap factory source.

DavidCQuick question for you folks.
I don't think I have ever used Hornady ammo... I mostly practice with the cheaper Remington & Winchester stuff and hunt using Federal.
How good is Hornady brass....generally?
Thanks,
Dave

GeronomoI've used their .458 Lott brass and seems pretty good, no complaints. Their brass comes like Lapua's with the annealing still visible. You can polish it off if you don't care for the appearance...doesn't bother me though.

SteveI haven't had any issues with Hornady brass in my Lott. Besides I think anealing on the is kind of sexy.
