BigFiveJackA-Square Hannibal 416 Rigby Recaliber Idea?
I've owned an A-Square 416 Rigby for 7 or 8 years.
With a new barrel and feeding work is it a simple
job to make it into a 550 Magnum for a gunsmith who
has done such a project before?
http://ammoguide.com/?catid=739 says NO GOOD.
But hope springs eternal...

Ammo Guide's computer comparison indicates that 416 Rigby
rim is bigger by a "smidge" than the 550 Magnum/460 Wby rim.
So how can a 416 Rigby CZ work? I take it that you see CZ actions
as superior to P14 and M1917 actions?

jeffeossoi entered the 550 mag info in ammoguide

the round is designed around the cz550 action.. nearly a drop in, with some feed ramp cleanup.
the rim difference is not a critical difference.. .0025 r
the CZ is car superior to the enfield action, in alll manner
this is a trust me area
