Jeffe, thanks for posting that. Can't wait to adjust that trigger though...there were a few times there I thought I was going to turn blue and pass out from holding my breath so long.

416 ar - or a texas varmit gun.

this picture is NOT a 416 and 458 hole next to each other ... and it's not two shots...

the left hole is actualy overlapping .416s... just a hair, but the hole is oblong, to the left... this might be the best big bore group i have ever done..

400gr hornadys at 2450

in the 40s, raining, windy...100 yards, 2x7 scope

which is explains why this AB barrel is shooting 1/2 moa or better, on a springfield,

Jeffe, very good group, just think how better group you would have shot with a 1-10 twist.
Smiler

I got an AB barrel for my Lott from midway on sale, Tom Griffin recontoured, looks really nice, hope it shoots. I have the stock about half way inletted, just need to get time and off my butt and get it finished.

Jeffe

Great groups, but no photos of the rifles! Please!

Also how is the regulation of the .550 Flanged double going? Any good combined groupings yet?

Thanks.

Looking good.

John,
here's the 416 and 470
remember, the 416 is on a SPRINGFIELD LOL

I need to take some pics of jimmy's rifle... right after he lets me paint the stainless barrel sofa

The 550 flanged it probably going to be springtime work.. had it about 4" at 50, then i gave up the ghost, tore it down, had huntingcat do his COOL crown work, and put it back together.

Go buy a lotto ticket if you are feeling lucky Jeffe...you have better odds of winning that that getting near my barrel with a can of Krylon.
