What's your point?
Cape buffaloes have been killed arrows, muzzleloaders, handguns, land mines, etc.

boom stickgeorge...do you own a 45-70?
i love that buff shot of yours...what did it measure?
just giving the 45-70 owners a shot in the arm. i gave clear warning as not to disturb the sensabilities of others (non 45-70ers) notice i didnt even put cape buff in there because we all know where that leads...
Wow!! That is quite possibly the ugliest little rifle I've ever looked at. Looks like a toy...

Shit-stirring is unwelcome here.

JOEYBONESI don't think it is ugly , maybe cause I recently bought one. Is it really legal to hunt cape buffalo with landmines ?

lawndartNo worries mate,
I have one of everything. My 45-70 guide gun its just a total hoot. I lend it to sports that I take bison hunting (with gasp, Garretts). Boom flop. It doesn't intimidate them so they make a good shot. When someone shows up with a 300 Weatherby or 338 I know I will be finishing the job. I use my 416 Rigby because I have to stop them right here right now if the customer's shot isn't adequate. They are all just tools.
