Ok,,Oldsarge,i must admit ihave always wanted to provoke you and other fellas who find cartridges like the.460 Wby and other "hot-rods" too powerfull. And a .510 Gibbs could certainly be one of the biggest cases one can get for hunting applications. I guess your quite a nostalgian guy, and of course nothing wrong with that. Just when i saw tah you considering the .510 Gibbs, had me sending a spontaneous reaction,,so take my comment with a grain or two with salt !!
Hope you decide for the .510 Gibbs ,,and load it as high as you can ,and have others to shoot it
