I have an acquaintance in Germany who only buys the best and he can afford it. From Rolex watches to Samurai swords, he buys the best. The price is not an issue to him, it's the value that counts.
He sees a good double rifle, as a work of art. He has very high standards for these things and as I say he he will purchase anything of value that he wants at a fair price.

He knows nothing about double rifles and is the first to admits it. He needs to find someone knowledgable and trustworthy to help him narrow it down to two or three choices of rifles and sellers.

He, Sam, is a good guy and a decisive person to deal with. He doesn't fiddle around and is happy to pay the going rate for good service.

He will probably buy from a European maker/seller and is interested in a 600NE or 700NE. (That is not a typo.)

Sam speaks English and is a successful international businessman who can hop on his private plane and go anywhere in Europe to buy a double rifle.

He is more of a collector of guns than a hunter, although he owns countless hunting rifles as well as two hunting properties in the Yukon.

If you are someone who is the "real deal" and can work as a professional agent for Sam or you know someone who is, or if you have any starting advice for Sam, I will connect you or that person, directly with Sam. I will not be involved at all.

Thanks, Brian Gallup

I can personally recommend Max Ern in Schlebusch, near Cöln, in Germany. He and his family build some of the finest arms I have ever seen and Max is also very personable and I'm sure he would be willing to help with your friend's quest.

Their web site is max-ern.de

he doesnt own hunting properties in the yukon as there is not such a thing in our laws .... he may possess the right to hunt with an outfitter/guide on outfitting consessions which is very different. just to clarify.
