SO do we have properly stamped brass for the AR rounds yet??? PLEASE
I still contaplateing my big Bore and it would defintly be a AR 458 or 470 if we had good brass.

The brass maker RNS and I are working with is tied up until at least september... we are looking for AR headstamped brass from this company. Bunters cost a bit, and no point in buying them if they aren't going to run them.

while not the company of choice, on investigation, bertram's NEW 404 brass is of amazingly good construction, for bertram. they have listened to the unwashed masses!

Current count, that I know of
7 458 ARs
2 416 AR
2 470 ARs

With about 7 more in the works....

Oh, yeah, the first 500 AR will probably go bang in this month

Clarification please ... what is a "bunter?"

Why bring up the Bertram 404 brass? Is it not headstamped?

That is the tooling that letters the head, making the headstamp.

Mike, Keith is right.. bunter means the stamp that does the letters... i brought up the bertram for 2 reason..

1: its getting better
2: its one die and one punch away from being unformed ar basic!!

under 2 bucks a pop is the target
