OK from S, I should have my 600 OK next week and hopefully get to shoot it with a variety of powders, loads and bullets the following weekend. Mine has a 23" barrel so if velocity from that length barrel is what you are interested in and my Oehler Chrono does its job, I will be able to give you the info you are asking about. I think though, as Jeffe said, this info is available to you if you do "advanced search". Rob's 600s do have 26" barrels and he did hit 2,400fps though now walks with his head slightly cocked to his left As far as barrel lengths for other's rifles, that info too is in their posts if you search the Big Bore Forum. More info to follow. NRA Lifer; DSC Lifer; SCI member; DRSS; AR member since November 9 2003 Don't Save the best for last, the smile for later or the "Thanks" for tomorow

Overkill, Why do you keep asking the same questions over and over and over again? Why do you need a .600? Isn't your alleged .460Wby. enough to "knock moose off their feet"? George

What difference does it make to you what the velocity is from a short barrel? You don't own a .600OK. After all these years of inane questions, it doesn't appear that you're likely to build one and you're not likely to find one in the woods. So why waste bandwidth? George

It is my dream to one day own one And this dream will be true.. But I have to learn to handload before.. I have so much to do with my work that I have not enough time right now.. First step is to learn to to load my .460wby then when I know how it works I will buy a .600 OK from AHR.. Ed plummer has said that he will ship one to sweden for me

While I had no signs of reaching "maximum" pressure, your question is otherwise answered in the "UPDATED" thread here. NRA Lifer; DSC Lifer; SCI member; DRSS; AR member since November 9 2003 Don't Save the best for last, the smile for later or the "Thanks" for tomorow
