Good question. I would say Searcy is using IMR 4831 since his velocity is pretty high with a lower charge.

Either H4831SC Extreme or the Long Cut H4831 Extreme is the better way to go. thumb Seems like Searcy would have wised up by now. bewildered

Quoting a load as just "4831" is very careless. Anyone doing this should get down and give me fifty pushups, and promise not to do it anymore.

Take note everyone, the North Forks will all be .475" and no more .474" will be turned out, eh?

I will be needing some more of the .475/500grain FPS. I have three hungry rifles to feed, and all of my .475 grooved rifles like the taste of North Fork Copper, the more driving bands the tastier. thumb
