The headstamped .458 AR (AccRel) brass arrived this morning!




Now I need to load it with fireforming bullets and go make some brass to go to South Africa in May!

Things are lookin' up.

Was going to fireform with 435 gr cast bullets and 50 grs AA5744. Trying to conserve the good bullets ... 425 gr Rhinos and 500 gr Woodleighs.

I really don't think I need a load having more than 5400 lb-ft of energy >6000 lb-ft just isn't necessary.

You must have sent your SAPS permit application in for your alternate rifle to get Mr Murphy to finally deliver your long awaited brass.
Now we'll get to see that puppy in action.

The SAP520 has not been mailed yet. Goes out the end of the week or the beginning of next week.

Now lets see if I break a rifle after it goes out

Should be interesting to see what you think on sight-in day in RSA. Even though it is a "mild" load 425s at 2400 are LOUD!
