I came across an Interarms MarkX in 458WM for $600 today. Bluing looked very good, 95%+, clean stock, flip up open sights for 200 and 300 yards. The bolt was typical Mauser loose at full rear...and tried to bind just a bit if you didn't push straight forward. The only thing I really didn't like was the safety. I would prefer the Mauser wing safety! Anyway, $600 good deal or not?

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Yeah, it's a good deal. If you don't want it, I'll be glad to buy it!

It would become a Lott if I owned it as well.

CDH,
believe it or not, the slack is what makes it able to NOT bind if you don't push it straight in... think m16 full of sand vs sks or sk47 full of sand...

the close tolerence, tightly fitted m16 is a poor substitute for a club after a dust storm out in the open.

I think 600 is 100 too much, but I have to restock 90% of all factory guns to fit my LOP
