do yourself a favor and run a search on all of the forums here for Elk Ridge. You will find a heck of a lot more bad than good including my experience

Yukon, unless you are set on a lam, which you should get from www.rifle-stocks.com (richards) I would strongly suggest www.gunstocks.com This a FINISHED 602/550 stock http://gunstocks.com/Gr_Barg_13/IMAG0004.JPG but you can get one as low are $100 for matchstick, and $200 is what I paid for my 500 jeffe stock jeffe

Yukon257, About a month ago I took the stock from my CZ550 416 Rigby and cut it into about 15 pieces. It was a laminated Elk Ridge stock that cost me $50 more than they originally told me it would and it was 9 weeks later than they promised it. It was a piece of crap. I wouldn't take a free stock from them if it was offered now. You would do better most anywhere else--check on those sites Jeffe listed and good luck!

I have one of the ELK Ridge laminates on my 470MBOGO. My opinion jives with everyone elses. THEY are CRAP! It took 9 weeks longer to appear than promised and the inletting stank! Never again! I dislike laminates anyway.-Rob

Shit, I seem to be the one person who actually got a couple of rather nice stocks in a timely fashion. Having heard this kind of feedback I doubt I'll deal with them again.
