Todd

I normally don't watch the youtube hunting shit, but a friend mentioned to me " The bufallo in the jess" comedy.

So one day I tunned in and guess who he was?

It was Todd Williams the serious hunter who doesn't know that a situation like this requires a head shot or a spinal shot.

Only because hunting a buff. in the jess is difficult in the best of the time, but

If only he knew how to shoot off hand his double and the animal anatomy.

Todd the spinal shot is a tiny targer only about 5" wide by 80" long.

Not a problem for a shooter who can shoot off hand with a total trust to his cheap peep sights bolt action rifle.

Tood unless the animal is not hiding behind a horizontal concrete 8'(feet) long beam along his spine and neck it only takes two shots.

One into the spine (neck) and a finishing shot if needed.

Todd why did you needed so many shots to finish the buff. after you found it is beyond my comprehension.

As per usual thousands of excuses and plenty off cheers.

You may think that you have the Youtube fame, but these ill clips are making our lives hell.

Thanks to dumb people like yourself and the youtube clips like this the Greens are after our asses here like if there is no tomorrow.

Todd get fitter so you don't huff a puff after few steps in the heat.

Learn an animals anatomy and learn how to shoot a peep sights bolt action first before you make another dumb comment.

We'll see. My objective is to shoot first and not to make friends.

I hope it all will happen.

Pyrzda- anytime my friend! Why not make friends? Meeting the guys would prove your not the Troll they think you are, and let your shooting skills amaze and fascinate them. They are both very good shots and worth having present to record your deeds. We'll all shoot some really big guns, then hit the bars! When you coming to SLC?-Rob

Those figures come straight from Weatherby's web site as well as their catalog. I know my 460 WM recoil is pretty tame with the Accubrake and 500@2700.

I also have a Accubrake on one of my .378 WM (300@3000) and it reduces the recoil down to around a .300 WM.

Pyzda,

You can get from Canberra to Las Vegas through Sydney and Los Angeles.

Let us know when your flight arrives at McCarran. Rob and I will collect you at the airport.

I promise we'll leave all the "ejaculatorados, and self rectrum pleasureados" traveling in your party at the airport. They can meet you back at the hotel when Rob's done embarassing you in the desert. tu2

George
P.S. Your choice of the Lithuanian word for pussy as your user name is intriguing. Tell us more.

Pyrzda-have to admit I never shot kicked basketballs before! I bought some basketballs today and went shooting. Kicked em as hard as I could and shot em all pretty easily with the .460 ! Am
I missing something? My son kicked some crossing balls from 25-35 yrds away that we're alot harder at first but I worked it out! Standard sweep thru and touch-off stuff! Probably shot 50 rnds today. Running piggies are way harder, cause they juke, dive and accelerate better than those basketballs! I've been to Canberra and know you have nice piggies there! Why do you shoot basketballs rather than piggies? No piggies in Vegas, porcine that is, but I know where we can find some ! -Rob

Big Grin

So Poopda is not Pyzda? Some IP address research has been done, or what?
The Lithuanian family name animal has migrated to Australia?

I would love to witness the shooting contest in the desert. When pigs fly?

RIP- Your job is to make sure Pyzda's still conscious enough/functional enough after the !2GaFH Full Military Power experience, to even shoot the .460. You may have to "doctor" him up a bit! It will be EPIC! It has to be documented on Video, but thats George's job. Pyzda you better not drop that gun its a one of a kind Borchardt-Rob

Rob,
Will do, if both you and Pyzda sign a waiver agreeing to cessation of contest when I judge someone neurologically impaired,
and that party agrees to report to nearest emergency services with basic CT of head capability,
holding me harmless for my free services to him.
I just want to make sure nobody gets hurt.
Smiler
Of course this will also require a basic neurologic exam/field sobriety test before the contest starts.
Judging by some of Pyzda's "Pyz-DUH!" posts, the contest may be over before it starts. Roll Eyes

Rip- a most excellent and thoughtful plan. I'm sure Pyzda will arrive safe, sober and full of "piss and Vinegar" and do his best! Hopefully it won't be over too quickly as it really sounds like fun.The closest hospital is Only a few miles away. If Pyzda has other commitments you George and I could just shoot up the ammo ourselves!-Rob

I wouldn't hold my breath RIP. I'm thinking one of the other preconditions might be to check the "cunt" for fullness of shit prior to the event beginning as well. Wouldn't want all that stuff knocked out of him and getting on you, George, and Rob.

the 460wby in the dgr rifle, is a bit of a kicker, even with the brake, using full to moderate loads. my thought would be the mkv deluxe with the wood stock, would help absorb some of the recoil, more so than the syn stocked dgr...........the dgr is a fine hunting rifle, but a tad lite for the 460wby. i have shot 458 lotts and still own a 458win, the 460 is way above them in recoil. opnions vary, but hey, until you own one and use it, you really carn't comment i feel.....................

I have a 450 Dakota built by AHR. With a Leupold 2.5 Ultraligh it weighs 10.7 pounds. It's one of those "you carry it a lot more than you shoot it" guns. It does not have a break. Five hundred grain bullets at 2300-2400 fps is about all that I can handle. I dropped down to 450 grain Barnes bullets. Ninety-four grains of RL 15 pushes a 450 TSX right at 2400 and decreases recoil a bit. However, it's still a handful at the range. I can't imagine what an unbraked 460 Weatherby would be like pushing a 500 grain bullet at 2700 fps.

P.S Wayne builds on heck of a rifle. tu2

No worries just yet, I hope that all is going to happen.

I only hope that you won't die on me from an old age or a 12GA double concussion before I'll manage to get there.

The States are never ever on our priority list.

I like the thought that you've took to the basketballs, it is good fun eh.

You'll be fine all it's needed is more time behind the trigger.

Try a large hole (11/64)?? peep sights, it's just as fast as a scope.

Pyzda- on your basketballs the fastest sight is the eotech dot in circle. When you get the basketball in the circle it gets popped every time. With peeps you must have two objects in the sight plane. With the eotech when you learn to use one properly, your just sweeping the ball and swiping the trigger. The eotech holds up to the .460 just fine. I got pretty good at this! The states should be tops on your list. Everyplace else is a even bigger shithole! Big Grin-Rob

I believe that these things are good, but all the glass, elecronics, batteries etc. always give me the shits.

All my guns have to withstand a military like abuse. They have to qualify as a battlefield kings, not a safe queens.

I don't use any scopes just for that very reason and only my .375 H&Hs had basic Weaver steel K4. optics.

Everything else always had peep sights only.

Not that good for a dim light and older eyes, but they're virtually indestructable.

Just to say something about the use of a rifle for shotgun applications.

As you had a go at it and found in a short time that it is not that hard with a little bit of trigger time to hit moving targets with consistency.

I've been doing it for some 25 years and it never been boring for me.

PYZDA-The Eotech sight has been battle proven in Iraq and Afganistan by some first class operators and is definitely battle tested. I was an early adopter for big bores and trust me, no iron sight is faster. You roll that circle on the basketball sweep through and squeeze the trigger while she's swinging thru. Easy as pie! Learned to do this on running piggies and there are a few guys on this board who have seen me do it. I actually really enjoy shooting running game this way. Once you learn how it's easy with these sights, only two objects in the plane of vision rather than three. -Rob
