It appears that I will need some sort of extention to throat ream a NO. 1 Ruger. in 45-70 Any suggestions.

Does anyone have any suggested loads for the rifle once converted. will be using 405 Flat point jacketed. Thanks Elmer

Elmer, contact Fred at 4D and ask him if he offers an extension to rent with the reamer. I don't see one on the list, but he may have a recommendation.

Start with your ruger loads and work up, with the bullet on the REAR cannelure.
