boom stickrechamber the 375 ruger to the 9.5x66 vom hofe super express or 375 westley richards
http://www.sammlermunition.de/jagdpatronen.htmhttp://www.municion.org/VomHofe/9_5x66SE.htmhttp://www.ivorybeads.com/gallery/2215_right_web.jpgyes the 375 vom hoffe express aka 9.5x66 super express
or the one of a kind 375 westley richards
http://www.ivorybeads.com/guns/2215.htmyou can rechamber your 375 ruger to an obscure snooty euro cart. vom hoffe was a cool cat. it has the rum casehead so if you rechambered you could use rum brass for a not so rebated and standard boltface and cheap brass. not a wildcat just a high power old 375 cart.
it has the same rim as the 8x68 brass but that is not needed...
i think the barrel will need to be set back some cuzz i think the ruger brass is a tad longer in the body but not by much
it seems the 375 a.r. has been done...well kinda...
any german speaking people know where to get dies? chamber reamer?
i think 375 rugers will be rechambered in europe to revive this cart...
the 375 v.h.s.e.r.r. vom hofe super express reduced rebate
anyone have 375 super express dies to run rum brass through?
now the 375 w.r. now that is getting snooty

Paolo9,5x73For 20K

they should supply better scope with that rifle.
What is the difference between this number and 9,3x66 or 378Wby?

boom sticko.k. thanks alf...
the 375 super express is the viable one based on the 404 so rum brass will work and easily done on a ruger.
i guess on the rum brass it is the 375 a.r. or 375/404 saeed short
If anyone is interested, the WR rifle is for sale and can be bought for about $11000 at Hendershot's Sporting Goods. I owned the rifle for a while and could not understand the scope used since it had German claw mounts worth about a grand. Two issues killed the project with Westley. One of the issues was the advent of the 375 Dakota which may be a close cousin and a disagreement with the ammunition producer. It is a great gun and well worth todays price.

boom stickljs...do you have the cart dimensions??? thanks.
Boomstick:
No I'm sorry I don't. Never got a cartridge drawing but RCBS did make dies. I don't know if they could help. I was told it was a duplication of the Vom Hoffe 9.5x66 Super Express. Lance Hendershot at Hendershots Sporting Goods is a good guy and might be willing to part with an empty case. As I recall there are about 6 once fired with the outfit. Never got around to shooting it.
