Yes, good news, plus I heard from high up Swift is maybe going to have some 510 and 505 bullets by SCI next year. "An individual with experience is never at the mercies of an individual with an argument"

PWS, Does this mean that Hornady will soon be producing 500 Nitro express 3" ammo? Looks like my need to cast lead 680-grainers for the 500 Mbogo will be diminished by availability of Hornady .510 caliber. That is why I keep coming back here to ar.com, for headsups like you just gave. The price of the .510/570-grain Hornady's is "free" in the link to Graf's. When they are actually available, I reckon they will cost a bit more than free. Thanks.

This is great news! Whether you like Hornady or not, you have to give them credit for being willing to take chances and offer new products that most companies would not. Can't wait to see those new offerings from Swift, too. A .505 or .510 A-Frame will certainly spell a bad day for Mr. Buffalo

I was happy that Hornady went back to the steel jacketed solids. I am happy that they are offering them in so many calibers, and especially this new one, since I have a .510 caliber rifle. Swifts in .510 would be terrific. More bullet variety is always better. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

RIP, I was just doodling around on-line, making cost and availability comparisons. I don't know what else Hornady has up their sleeve. I've always been impressed with Hornady after I bought a set of Lott dies about three months before it was made a factory round. They sent me about $75 back because the die price fell significantly well after the fact!
