How are these? Any known problems? The one I'm looking at is an "American Liberty" model, if that helps.

I have one I bought from a forum member here and I love it! I found that it much improves if you add a butt cuff with 9 500gr rounds to bring the weight of the rifle up to about 10.5lbs.

If it being a push feed rifle, for a DGR, doesn't bother you, it is a far better rifle than the 700 Rem, IMO!

The tang-safety are push feed from what I have been told and the one I handled. The Model 77 Mark II is the CRF, I think, but do not quote me as I am not the Ruger expert.

Somewhere someone here listed the model variants and which were CRF.

Tang safety is push feed, bought one for myself as a college graduation present in 1981. Fine rifle! Never a problem with it and I shoot it fairly often.
