Well, I recieved my .416 Rigby and mounted a 1.5x5X Leupold in Talley Rings -- thanks for all the advice guys. The gun's a little 'blocky' but fit and finish are better than I expected and the action is smoother than I thought it would be. As soon as "She Who Must Be Obeyed" opens the checkbook I'll buy a box of ammo and sight her in. The front sight (bead) is simply too small to be useful for its intended purpose as a close range option and backup to the scope. Perhaps it's made to go along with the optimistic 200/300 yd rear sight blades. Does anyone make a larger drop-in front sight for the CZ550? Something with an ivory bead would be ideal. | ||
