Gentlemen, that is most assuredly very well done engraving! The draw back is that the engraving costs more than the rifle, it is placed on! The problem is, I can barely afford the rifle, so it would be a choice between the rifle and the art work! These are graveur quality and he should be striking plates. The subtlety is really beyond what can be seen on the net. Have you seen these in person? Was he one of the selected craftsmen to be honored in this years Suhl celebration of the gun arts? He should and will be in the future! I checked the site but don't read German.
