Gentlemen, that is most assuredly very well done engraving! The draw back is that the engraving costs more than the rifle, it is placed on! The problem is, I can barely afford the rifle, so it would be a choice between the rifle and the art work! I love fine engraving, but I love double rifles even more, sooooo guess which I would buy! Big Grin

That work is wonderful! I sincerely hope some of his stuff ends up in museums for the generations after us (after being owned by folks who dearly love it)!

These are graveur quality and he should be striking plates. The subtlety is really beyond what can be seen on the net.
Have you seen these in person?
Was he one of the selected craftsmen to be honored in this years Suhl celebration of the gun arts? He should and will be in the future!
I checked the site but don't read German. I would really like to see more of his craft.
