Does anyone make these besides Warne? Are the Warnes OK for a .416 type rifle?

Thanks

Kevin Robertson recommended the Warnes on a .416 Rigby Ruger. I have some and they have stood up.

One member here trashed a set of Warnes on his .458 Lott Ruger, but it may nave been a case of a defective part, Sh!# Happens. Lemons pop up anywhere it seems, from time to time.

Falcon Industries makes a neato QD lever to put on the standard Ruger Rings, replaces the slotted nut. That works, I've tried 'em and like 'em, may be the stronger option. Everybody trusts Ruger Rings. thumb

RIP

Where can I purchase the Falcon Industries levers? Also, do they sit horizontally when locked?

Thank you!

Here:

It is a special order, gotta give them a call at 877-381-3781, and get the latest info on price. IIRC about $49 for a set of the levers.

They come with several thin brass washers as spacers or you can face off the contacting surfaces to make them line up where you want.

Like Jeffe says, a quarter or a brass token, or a Mossberg shotgun choke tool, in your pocket works great for QD-ing Ruger rings with slotted nuts.

We use the Falcon system that RIP is talking about on our 3 .416s and they have worked great.
There is a little 'fiddle factor' to get the levers where you want them, but it's worth it. Order an extra set of shims.
