Natchez Shooters Supply is "scheduled" to have some around 4/26/10 and Midsouth Shooters Supply is overdue for a delivery and say they should have some "anyday". You can backorder at either place. Karl Evans

Glad you got some before it disappeared, I looked for over two months before I found the gun source and yes, they were helpful....I called to check stock after I found they showed the brass in stock and the nice lady took my order over the phone in about one minute. Karl Evans

Tried first batch of loads yesterday: all with 400 gr Hornady IL RN....85 gr IMR 4350 3 shot group 1.80", 85.4 gr IMR 4350 3 shot group .760"!...I didn't chronograph them, but I will this weekend. I hope the good shooting load runs a bit over 2300 fps. Karl Evans

bigguy458, I am running 95gr. H4350 with a Swift 400gr bullet and Fed 215 Mag primers in my Dakota 76 for a chronographed speed of 2417 fps. No pressure problems, good accuracy too. Hope this is some help. Good shooting. tetonka DRSS 450/400 NE 3" K-gun 416 Ridby Dakota 76

Thanks tetonka...I picked up some H4350 Friday and will load some this week with Hornady and Barnes 400 gr bullets....I'll try the 95 gr load (but with CCI primers) for sure. Karl Evans

I would be surprised if you are getting that kind of velocity with that load. I use 90.5 grains of IMR4350 and typically get between 2350 and 2400 fps. Mike

MJines, you were right on with your assesment...the load averages 2266 fps out of my CZ 550 still shoots good though, I'll work up from where I am and see what I end up with both velovity and accuracy wise. With any luck I can reach 2350 fps or so. Karl Evans

I have had awfully good luck with Reloder 22 in my Rigby. If I recall, 96 grains was running right at 2300 fps out of my CZ with a 400 grain Hornady. It makes a nice practice load. A couple more grains would probably put you right where you need to be for a hunting load. I have also tried Ramshot Hunter and it works but Magnum would probably be a better choice if you want to use a spherical powder. Dave, thanks for the tip, I'm planning on trying H4350 so I may as well try the Rl 22 as well...I've got about 4 months to work up good hunting loads. Karl Evans
