You look like me shooting a medium caliber gun, granted I'm only around 110 lbs, but how to you handle recoil so well?

Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.

Hogkiller,

Toms loads are getting between 1400 and 1450 ft/sec with a 2000 grain bullet and a 26 lb rifle. The recoil at 1450 ft/sec comes out to 160 ft. lbs and recoil velocity is 19 ft/sec. That is one moose of a gun! SO COOL !!!

If you go to youtube.com and type in 4 bore ouch under search, you can see two guys that don't fair so well with a 4 bore. They really get CLOBBERED. Tom, you handle the recoil so much better, I am proud of you.

Hogkiller, I think I was using a figure for powder of 290 grains, so it would still be pretty close.

If you used 310 grains of powd to achieve 1450 ft/sec, the recoil would be 165 ft. lbs of recoil at 20 ft/sec.
