I was wondering if there are any loads with lighter jacketed bullets that will regulate with the standard 570 grain bullet at 2150. I know some do in the 470, but haven't seen any yet for the 500. Hawk, Barnes, and Woodleigh all make various bullets in this caliber lighter than 570 grains.

I have only tried 500 grain lead. But if I were using a lighter weight jacketed bullet, I would try to get it to regulate with XMP5744 powder, starting with about 35 grains, and working up to about 70 grains until the barrels converge. I did the same with a .470 NE using 300 grain pistol bullets and found that 65.0 grains XMP5744 got the barrels to converge at 100 yards.
