| When Winchester first brought out the 458, they intended that Solids be used on the big stuff includiong cape buff. The 510gr bullets were intended to give good results on lion, as such they are kind of a soft soft.

| The Winchester Power Point 510 grain is the best non premium (bonded) soft point made in this caliber.
Like all the other PP's it has a brass jacket w copper coating. It is a very thick and ductile jacket.
The late Jack Lott, who I knew slightly, used them in his .458 Lott, and I have recovered them at up to 2400 fps no problem. Excellent frontal area and weight retention.
Alot beter than the Remington or Hornady RN SP.
