Got a brand new Charles daly Zastava action with a magnum bolt face in my hands ( thanks 505Ed ) and want to do something in a .50 caliber........

What would be a good cartridge and who to do it?

I don't want fancy nor do I want crazy expensive, but I do want something that works EVERY time.

Jeffe,

It's not that I'm worried so much about recoil....I was wondering more what would be a good 50 cal for that action and who yo have the work done by. I am leanin' hard toward the 50 or 470 AR. I already shoot up to 458Lott and wanted to take a step up.

But if you are in Crosby and want to shoot 'em I'd be tickled to invite you to our range here and help you shoot them all I could stand.

Jim

Jeff,

I shoot every Sunday morning at our range in Crosby. We would love to have ya'. This comming Sunday we are going to do our first orientatation for our 600yard range but next Sunday would be great. It's kinda hard for me to get there while it's still daylight on weekdays.

I hear that Grandkids are much more fun than Kids.

Doug,

You got a 1917 you wanna sell? I just love that Model 70 I got from ya.

Jim I sold my last one about a year ago. The good thing is that they are not hard to find.
at gun shows.

I'm glade you like that pipsqueak 375 Big Grin that you bought from me.

Check your PMs.

I can personally vouch for that! I recently
introduced both of my Grandaughters to the art of making spitballs & shooting them through soda straws. They are getting quite good but our daughter & son in law has not forgiven my yet ! Big Grin

Might try the .495 A-Square.

BUT, if you do, handload or call Superior Ammunition.
