I emailed New England Arms regarding the SIACE double rifles asking for info and they never replied. There was a small bit in their ad in either the last Double Gun Journal or Shooting Sportsman. I guess me being from the South and all, they probably don't want to traffic with a hick like me---or could it be that I returned a $3600 Arrietta that was supposed to be new but was dinged all to hell? Who knows...

Hey Mac, I'm originally from Bryan, TX--that should be far enough south....I know, I know--New Mexico is technically in the southwest, but gimme a break!! Lovington is only 14 miles west of the Texas line....hmmmm. Later, Andy

ACRecurve, you are lucky to live in Lovington, NM. I was born in Coleman County Texas, but lived in El Paso for 40 Years, off and on! I certainly miss being able to go hunting on very good public land when ever I want! I've hunted the state of NM from North to South, and from east to West, and I sure miss being able to go coyote hunting every morning. Here if you cross a fence someone wants to shoot you! I've been retired since 1995, and I'm trying to talk my wife into Moveing to NM, but no good , the grand kids you know!

Andy, chances are those New England yankees don't know that New Mexico is part of the U.S., and they don't want to be dealing with foreigners!! Have you ever read the "One of Our Fifty Is Missing" column in the New Mexico Magazine?? Believe me, I envy you living where you do!!
