I was in the Gander MTn yesterday at 290&HWY6 here in Houston. The had a CZ 416 Ribgy for $719 or 716 (if my menory still works) in the display case. Notice this moring the going rates on gunbroker were closer to $800.

As usual just my $.02

Isn't it sitting by the Ruger #1 in 458 Lott or am I getting it confused with the Sugar Land store?

Well yesterday it was on the bottom. On the other side were two No 1. One I believe was a Lott. The other was that Stainless/laminated version with a Varmint Model tag saying 375H&H. They also had a real nice looking RSM with real nice wood. But I can't remember the chambering.

That's chambered for a large and expensive to shoot cartridge. Frowner These are hard to move.

That is a great price if it's NIB. This coming from a dealer.

Oh well...hurry up and wait.

Local Gander Mtn had couple as well, but I didn't look at the prices. They also had Merkel 140 in .470NE. Federal ammo was $299/box for that one. Eeker
They got the last box of .375H&H Hornadys from "hundred gallon" tank for me.
PS. Over past few years I have seen several of those CZ .458W, .458L, .416 Berthas in used gun racks, most didn't have a mark on them. Just a couple of shots and "shotgun wedding" is annulled! CRYBABY

an almost perfect rifle...as is...just needs bedded...and the trigger worked on a bit.
The 416 is a near-perfect lead bullet rifle, 350grs at 2200 is a sweet acclimation load, and a 420gr at the same speed a couple months later.
