... semm to belong now to the same Group. Kettner ( a large guns and hunting outlet in Europe ) also belongs to them. Seems large conglomerates dominate the market. Less choices for the consumer ... Sad. Hermann formerly, before software update, known as "aHunter", lost 1000 posts in a minute

I do not know if this is a trend in Europe, but in America a lot of sole ownership/family owned companies, seem to be selling the company, for a large sum of money of course. For a good retirement I would think... DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

They merge, Cerberus and other funds buy them, models get deleted, Class goes down, accountants ( and bad ones at that, Penny wise and Pound foolish ) run the Business, Quality goes down, and we are left with ugly sh!t. Yep, McMillian rifles recently got sold. First changes being no 3 position safeties, CRF actions being discontinued, and hunting rifle lines will be curtailed with more emphasis on tactical rifles for the military and LE. I had two rifles in the pipeline. One of them will not have a 3 position safety as they no longer had parts for it.

One way.. How it used to be done, though exiting unprofitable products almost always a great idea. Cerebus trends to buy failing or struggling businesses and save them. Bushmaster, pre-2008, Dpms, Remington, marlin, HR.. And not a single important model is deleted.. More choices for hunters and shooters.. I think your animus could be found in Winchester, where FN bought the right of calling it's products "winchester" after the last manufacturer went fully into bankruptcy, liquidated all of its assets and blew away in the wind. THEN FN bought the production rights from olin and saved several models from extinction.. While not producing several models that lost tons of money for usual. This is business, not tiddlywinks.. At the end if the day, it is about money. opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round?
