You can also shoot 416 Rem factory loads in a Hoffman chamber but not Hoffman loads in a Rem chamber. | |||

Thanks guys... never owned one but I am about to. Not being familiar with the cartridge, I was pleased to know about the ability to shoot regular Remington ammo in the Hoffman. As I remember, the Remington is the 8MM Rem Mag necked up where the Hoffman's parent case is the .375H&H so it makes sense. I take it accuracy should be acceptable with the right Remmy load? the only difference is a slight decrease in shoulder angle on the rem. accuracy should be unaffected.
