New guy here. I was lurking and noticed that one of you fine gentlemen invited the trollish fellow to the Dallas Safari Club shindig next year. Well, I live in the DFW area and was wondering what kind of associating you fellas from Texas do. More to the point, where do you shoot around here? I’ve not got a double (yet) but I do have a 458 and would you believe my buddies think it’s a monster. They don’t think too much of my single malt scotch either (Ardbeg). More of a .270 win and tequila crowd I guess.

The story of a 458 saving his life can only be fully appreciated if you hear it in person. It also helps if you have allowed him to sample your single malt for a bit before the story is told. If you are lucky, he might even include his unusual method of meeting women. It involves gun shots, open wounds, cursing, threats and ends in marriage. Damned odd fellow this NE 450 No. 2, but he can certainly shoot.
