tankhunterDid Paris Hilton decorate that while she was in jail ?
08 June 2007, 11:52
475GuyBTW, she's been released very early. Reason, she's sick. So what's wrong with the jail clinic? If it wasn't for AL "SHITDISTURBING" SHARPTON raising all kinds of Hell over this, I might've been perturbed. I'm for anything ASS is against.

SnellstromI liked everything about that rifle.............
except the stock.
Personally I would snatch that beauty up in a heartbeat and restock it in a nice stick of walnut.

The initials inlayed on the cheekpiece "MK" ...
Does this rifle really belong to Mehul Kamdar?

nordrsetaIt's not often that a fella sees a Holland that would be improved by a spraycan of Rustoleum.

RIP - I think you solved the mystery! And from the looks of the stock work, Mehul is obviously a backgammon enthusiast as well.

Jim,
It was suggested by Mark, a moderator of that forum. Has Mehul denied it?

465H&HLooks like it may have been commissioned by a retired Chicago cop that moved to Texas!

Crime Scene Exhibit A, complete with evidence tag:
This suggests that the piece was hopefully gone over for fingerprints before allowing the exhibitor to handle it:
Notice the remnants of stock checkering here:

And would that be a fold-down single leaf express sight to allow best use of the cocking-piece peep?
So that is where Winchester got the idea for the M70 Classic Super Express sights!
Is that a very low front sight bead with a pop-up H&H Moon Bead? The moon bead would be indirectly illuminated by reflections off the white checker board at night, adding to its effectiveness? Just trying to make some sense of this.
This is an outrage!!!
Working through my grief:
There, now I feel better and can put this nightmare behind me. I can deal with it through laughter:

I thought first of a retired taxi driver from NYC, with an Indian accent of course, or maybe something from Robert Deniro's personal collection? Planning for a sequel?

Seriously, though, waving that in the air while standing on a street corner in Manhattan would be a good way to hail a cab or a cop, maybe even the nostalgia police.
