I need a set of dies for my rifle. I always thought that it was a 500 Jefferys which was custom made for me many years ago. I lost the original set of dies in a house move. The chamber is really a metric one rather than the Jefferys version. Both cases will chamber as the metric is slightly larger and steeper shoulder angle. Can anyone point me as to where I may buy a set of these dies please? APB

I have a 500 Jeffery myself and use the CH4 dies. They look awful rough but load just fine. Price is a lot less then other sources. Good Luck Brad

CH4D list both the .500 Jeffery and 12.7x70mm Schuler. Same price - $189 odd. They do note that for the Schuler, 'fired cases or chamber cast should be supplied with order'. Hornady will make custom dies for around $165 a 2-die set; they need 3 fired cases, and preferably a reamer blueprint. Cheers, Doug
