I’d like to put a bigger bolt handle on my Ruger RSM. Is it possible to replace the bolt handle? Does the casting make any difference? If so, who does this kind of work and are there aftermarket handles or custom jobs only. Thanks for any replies.. Matt V. ______________________ Sometimes there is no spring... Anything is possible, just depends on whether a smith has the time to take on new work or whether he even has the inclination to do so. Lo do they call to me, They bid me take my place among them in the Halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever.

I had a smith install a tactical bolt handle on my CZ 375, sounds terrible but after you handle it you will love it and wonder what took you so long.

I had a longer straight handle put on my 416Rigby RSM. Neat job works fine. You have to put a wood filler where the stock is cut to clear the bolt. Ruger really puts a big relief on their stocks. Not a big job. SCI Life Member NRA Patron Life Member DRSS
