Anyone have opinions on the choice between a Hogue Overmoulded stock and a B&C synthetic stock for a Mauser based budget .458 AR big bore assuming both have the full aluminum inserts? Anyone have a better idea in the less than $200 range? Thanks! Mike -------------- DRSS, Womper's Club, NRA Life Member/Charter Member NRA Golden Eagles ... Knifemaker, http://www.mstarling.com

That Overmould while stump ugly is a very good stock for the money, especially with the full length rail. One of my customers has them on at least 4 of his rifles. Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

Butler Creek stocks have held up to my son's 458 Win now for five years. Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship Phil Shoemaker Alaska Master guide FAA Master pilot NRA Benefactor www.grizzlyskinsofalaska.com
