mstarlingRCBS Rockchucker w priming die ... kind of a cheap APS. Just don't have enough space on the bench to permanently mount the APS.

RIPRCBS Hand Priming Tool is my favorite.
I have 4 different hand priming tools, 3 of them are of my favorite RCBS make, one is a Lee, and I leave them all set up with the most commonly used shell holders, ready to go. One would do, with as-needed switching the shell holders, and primer plunger size.
I do use the AmmoMaster press priming tool for 50BMG, but I like to hand prime the 470NE, 505 Gibbs, 450NE, etc.: Have shell holder, and it takes an F215, will hand prime.

If I have to prime cases with out a shell holder, a good flat spot on the bench, a hard wood dowel, and a hammer.
Ain't that right jeffe.

prof242Have used all of the above, except for the APS, and like the Lee unit the best. I can prime while watching television, or reading the AR forum!

I wasn't aware you could prime nitro cases with the Lee. At least I can't with mine.

I was going to say the same thing, my lee hand priming tool will barely let 375 H&H shells fit in, they kind of snap in. Maybe Lee opened them up a bit since mine was made. Mine was made before the feeder trays, and I have to feed each primer in by hand every round.

GG375I can prime up to .416 Rigby with my Lee Auto Prime. Lee make the shell holder but you have to open up the mouth of the priming tool where the shell holder sits in order to fit the shell in. I used a dremel for that. Just use the arm on the press for priming the big rimmed NE shells.
Cheers.
