congomikeNew (?) 375 Ruger update
First of all my apologies if this has been posted, but it is late and I am too lazy to search...anyway, was at the supermarket tonight and browsed through the new RIFLE magazine. In it there is an article on the new Ruger 375. The article states it is formed from 8X60S brass...don't know it that has been stated before or not. If it has, again my apoligies for beating a dead horse!

boom sticknot true...
i read that article...scovil has the wrond dimensions...
the new guns and ammo revealed the true .532 casehead and rim.

congomikeThanks for clearing that up...like I said, it was late and I was just doing a quick glance through the magazine.

prof242The article was also wrong about the .375 Epstein. Epstein said emphatically that the .338 Win Mag expanded to .375 was NOT what he wanted, that's why he said to use either .300H&H or .375H&H cases to form his wildcat.
Is it me, or is Rifle magazine not as accurate in its writing as it used to be?

I would not trust any source until you see the released SAAMI or Ruger/Hornady documents.

ireload2The official documents are what make it real.
There are several versions of the gospel.
