Moderators, I defer to your discretion if I'm saturating the site with this subject.

Ladies and gents, the link below is provided for background. Basically, I've been unable to contact subject riflemaker since last week, after numerous emails & phone calls. All I wanted (initially) was to ask for the updated statement of work that was promised to be mailed last month and have yet to receive, but now I am concerned:
HEIN ISUES.

Thanks, jorge

Jorge,
Frustrating to say the least especially since you have been so patient.
If it were me I would have my attorney send him a letter and I would also file a complaint with the ATF.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Jorge, I talked with Greg the week before last. He is still very busy, however he has hired a guy named Dave to help speed up his production. Your rifle will one day be in your hands and it will be worth the wait. My 25-06 is 5 months late. Big deal, it will be ready when its ready. Filing a complaint with ATF or having your attorney send a letter will really not accomplish anything. It may get him to refund your money but in the end thats not what you want. Be patient, he will return your call and just look forward to getting your rifle WHENEVER that may be.

Carlos; I am not trying to be confrontational or anything of the sort. As a matter of fact, I specifically told Greg that I was totally on board with a delayed delivery past the promised 16months. He has always, always returned my calls promptly until now which incidentally was on a related thread about delays. I also told him I need the rifle for a hunt this summer and he said "no problem."

I have no issues waiting, but don't you think i at least deserve a response to y emails and phone calls? It's been almost a week. Surely he can return or answer ONE. Here's another thought to ponder; If he said "no problem" to a 1 July delivery, at what stage should the rifle be now? Is the action completed? I even went as far as to pay practically the whole rifle UP FRONT in an effort to help him out. I don't think I'm asking too much. do you? jorge

Haven't we just been through this??? I hope for your sake, Jorge, this is not going to turn out the same way as another gunmaker of recent note.

Best of luck!

Jorge, you are not asking to much. I understand your frustration. I sent Greg 2200 for a 416 rem barreled action in early december and I just received my contract TODAY. I had to ask him for that contract 3 times and I'm his biggest customer. (i.e. completed 458 lott, 375h&h, 338win, in works 416rem, 25-06) Nevertheless, I have full confidence in Greg and will continue doing business with him. I'll try and contact Greg tomorrow and ask him to call you. I know when I talked to him the week before last they had major weather issues. If you would like to some more pm me with your phone number and I'll call you. Carlos.
