Moose-HunterNew CZ 375 Ruger
Anyone seen one yet or heard much about it? CZ is taking forever to update their web site and list the 375 Ruger.
I'm curious what models this cartridge will be available in.

Idaho Sharpshooterif CZ does go ahead and chamber for the 375R does that mean I have to stop ragging on it?

458WinSteyr, Kimber and Schuerman are already chambering factory rifles for it.
I tell you, it's just a matter of time. It is a great round.
Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

You'll have to stop ragging only if CZ uses the 550FS platform....

KabluewyWhat if they choose to use the Safari magnum action? Or perhaps the medium magnum with the hump-back stock, and sights, as the do now for the 7mm Mag? Will you keep razzing them then, until they make it on the medium magnum action, with the American style stock, and no sights?

dirklawyerI was out shooting my son's Ruger 375 this AM, it is truly a great caliber and if the international tempo for chambering this round keeps up it's going to develope it's own nitch world-wide. My son is going to Zim with me in six weeks and he's going to shoot a buff with it, we'll post the results. Shooting 300g Swifts with 83g of R-19 @ 2600fps is more than enough for a good buff penetrator, in fact with the solids we might load it down a bit.

Moose-HunterWell, I noticed on the cover of the '08 Hodgdon magazine manual that it shows a CZ rifle chambered for the 375 Ruger.
