A few of us from BC and AB got together for a big bore shoot in Rocky Mountian House AB last weekend. We had a great time....good people, good facilities, some great rifles and cartridges, great shooting and delicious grub. Check here for some pictures, vid clips and commentaries. Cheers, Canuck

That's pretty neat stuff. Canuck32 is a biiiig guy, no wonder the rifle didn't have any effect on him. BTW, what was the 505 loaded with? Lo do they call to me, They bid me take my place among them in the Halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever.

That he is. I am 6'2" and feel small standing beside him (see the group pic)! I believe the 505 in the pic is loaded with a 570grain GS custom. Not sure what the charge is...its Canuck32's rifle (a CZ 550). Cheers, Canuck

Spring lingers up here. If you can believe it, there is still patches of snow on the ground and the mosquitoes were already out!! Cheers, Canuck

Add surestrike and Ngagi to that list too. The five of you would definitely tip the scales over 3/4 of a tonne! You'd (over)fill a Dodge Megacab. (actually, you'd probably make a helluva good Megacab commercial! ) At 6' 2" I am not used to feeling small, but I felt like a shrimp next to Canuck32.
Oui, oui! Cheers, Canuck

It'll also take a lot of beef to curb those hungers!
