I am looking at having my Winchester's action worked on. I know Dennis Olsen does a good job in Plains, Montana, But I recently moved down to southern Idaho, and I have heard about Jim Brockman. Has anyone had any work done by him on Winchester Model 70's?? I have looked on his web site, but I would like to have feedback from any of you about his quality of work, time frame etc.

What are you wanting done?

I would like the action lapped, the trigger worked on, and something done with the safety, its kinda rough. I was thinking about having a machined Williams extractor installed, a Brockman's sight put on. Thats about it.

I would pick up the phone and call Bill Trout down in Eagle Idaho. He is a good stockmaker and knows all the local talent down in the southern part of the state.
