sierrabravo45Good Gunsmith for Winchesters
I am looking at having my Winchester's action worked on. I know Dennis Olsen does a good job in Plains, Montana, But I recently moved down to southern Idaho, and I have heard about Jim Brockman. Has anyone had any work done by him on Winchester Model 70's?? I have looked on his web site, but I would like to have feedback from any of you about his quality of work, time frame etc.
Thanks.

sierrabravo45I would like the action lapped, the trigger worked on, and something done with the safety, its kinda rough. I was thinking about having a machined Williams extractor installed, a Brockman's sight put on. Thats about it.

schromfI would pick up the phone and call Bill Trout down in Eagle Idaho. He is a good stockmaker and knows all the local talent down in the southern part of the state.
