jeffeosso-go ahead get it! There can be no doubt it will be great fun to play with. I think the muzzle velocity with the 650gr bullet is closer to 1650 fps, though. judy | |||

Jeffe, I concur. Grab it! These things are simply marvellous fun! Here's a bit more encouragement, an Alex Henry .577 I hunt with regularly: http://www.australianhunting.net/library/oneoftheharderones.html Judy is correct with 1650 fps velocity for the 650 gr bullet, though this weight usually denotes 'nitro-for-black' rather than BP Express. For Black Powder loads, the 1910 Eley catalogue lists a 520 gr bullet in the 2 3/4 inch case and a 570 grainer in the 3-inch case, both at 1725 fps. | |||

i also looked at that one at least 100 times. is it gone because you got it? Dean didnt you post before on the kodiak double black powder. i was looking at one in 72calb and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with one. | |||
