what's the velocity of a 650 in a bpe? 1800?

jeffeosso-go ahead get it! There can be no doubt it will be great fun to play with. I think the muzzle velocity with the 650gr bullet is closer to 1650 fps, though. judy

Judy is correct with 1650 fps velocity for the 650 gr bullet, though this weight usually denotes 'nitro-for-black' rather than BP Express. For Black Powder loads, the 1910 Eley catalogue lists a 520 gr bullet in the 2 3/4 inch case and a 570 grainer in the 3-inch case, both at 1725 fps.

i also looked at that one at least 100 times. is it gone because you got it?

didnt you post before on the kodiak double black powder. i was looking at one in 72calb and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with one.
